How does the AI interviewer know whether I am right?

Every case carries a private brief written alongside it: the objective, the data, the intended structure, the maths with worked solutions, and the traps candidates fall into. The interviewer reasons from that brief, so it can challenge a specific wrong number rather than responding vaguely.

Does voice mode need special hardware?

No. It uses your browser's built-in speech recognition and synthesis, so it works on any modern desktop browser with a microphone. You can switch between voice and text mid-case.

I'd split profit into revenue and cost before exploring either. Revenue is volume times price; cost I'd split fixed versus variable, then convert everything to a per-flight basis. Given volume is up, I'd start on the cost side.
